FabLab Playshop: Kapaemāhū

In this playshop, FabLab Teaching Artist Enormvs Muñoz (he/him/‘ia/‘iana) will introduce us to Kapaemāhū on February 24, 2022 from 6pm-8pm PST. This is a hybrid event with both an online streaming option and an in-person gathering located at 1446 Market St, San Francisco, CA. No Experience Necessary. Open to non-artists as well as artists of all mediums.

Come embody the essence of queer ancestor Kapaemāhū with lomi lomi (Hawaiian massage) and ‘ori Tahiti (Tahitian dance). Kapaemāhū was a 15th century māhū healer from Tahiti and Hawai‘i. Māhū are people embodying both female and male gender traits. Kapaemāhū was renowned for their healing gifts, experience, and wisdom. Join us in welcoming Kapaemāhūs spirit into our creative lives with @Enormvs Muñoz (he/him/‘ia/‘iana)!

February 24th, 6pm-8pm pst, hybrid in-person at Intersection for the Arts (1446 Market St) and online. Registration from $5-$50
