Paul Peninger, he/him
Paul is an urban economist and planner specializing in the policy and planning intersections between community planing , sustainable development and economic feasibility. Throughout his 25-year career as a consultant, teacher, policy advocate and community development finance professional, Paul has maintained a strong commitment to affordable housing as the cornerstone of equitable and sustainable communities, successfully leading and participating in hundreds of affordable housing plans, strategies, policy studies, and implementation projects in diverse communities across the country. Paul is currently a Principal with Baird+Driskell Community Planning and a regular lecturer in urban economics at UC Berkeley. A resident of San Francisco, Paul is proud to be an advocate for the preservation of queer urban history and the performing arts.
