Rick Oculto, He|Him

Rick Oculto runs the Education Programs at Our Family Coalition, a non-profit based in the San Francisco Bay Area that serves queer families and children. He has worked in queer advocacy for over 20 years and is currently helping lead the implementation of queer history and social science in California in collaboration with the California Department of Education. Rick has conducted trainings for thousands of students, educators, and youth workers across the United States focusing on diversity, harassment, gender stereotypes, and other queer issues. He holds a dual B.A. degree in Psychology and Spanish from Seattle University in Washington and a Master of Arts Degree in Social Welfare at UC Berkeley specializing in management and planning. Rick uses he pronouns and is an avid gamer.
